About this job
Our company in Weston, FL needs a CDL-A driver to deliver products to local Chick-fil-A restaurants using newer trucks and equipment. You'll be home every day, with a schedule built around nights.
Schedule
- Shifts run Sunday through Friday, starting between 5pm and 8pm and going until the deliveries are finished.
- You get two consecutive nights off each week, plus Saturdays off.
- Expect roughly 40 to 45+ hours weekly depending on route volume.
- Some flexibility is needed around weekends, holidays and shift rotations as business needs require.
Pay
- Guaranteed weekly pay between $1,500 and $1,800 for 40 hours, based on your driving experience.
- Anything worked beyond 40 hours in a week is paid at overtime rates.
What you'll haul
- Deliver product to 4 to 6 Chick-fil-A restaurants per shift, unloading and staging items within each restaurant's delivery window.
- Pick up and return items like pallets and carts, and handle the related paperwork.
- Help unload the truck and put equipment away once you're back at the distribution center.
- You'll drive a new automatic Kenworth T680 with leather air-ride seats, GPS, and backup/side cameras, pulling a 48-inch Great Dane trailer with electric side lift gates. Battery-powered pallet jacks and Samsara mobile devices help with unloading and navigation, and an in-house maintenance team keeps the equipment running.
