CDL-A Delivery Driver — $37.00/hr + $15,000 Retention Bonus

Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in Mammoth Lakes, CA to bring food products to customers on local routes. You'll handle full touch freight, from unloading to delivery confirmation, while keeping safety and service front and center.

Pay

• Starting rate of $37.00 per hour, plus overtime

• $15,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires

• Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, location and other legal factors

Schedule

• Available any day, Monday through Sunday

• Shifts typically begin between 2am and 4am, though start times can shift

What you'll haul

• Food and beverage products delivered directly to customer sites

• All freight is hand-unloaded using a hand truck, ramp, or manual carrying

What the job involves

• Drive safely on highways and city streets, including backing into narrow loading docks

• Unload and place products correctly in designated storage spots

• Confirm deliveries and collect customer signatures

• Deliver strong customer service on every stop

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Manage payment collection where required

• Take on other tasks as assigned by your manager

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull or lower items weighing 20 to 80+ lbs throughout your shift

• Work outdoors in various weather, with 10 or more stops per shift

• Tolerate multi-temperature settings, including areas as cold as 0 degrees

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, kneel, twist, reach overhead and use fine hand movements

Requirements

• Minimum age 21

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any field, or 3 months specifically in food/beverage delivery

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be mandatory depending on location

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a federally mandated database tracking CDL/CLP holders' drug and alcohol violations

• English proficiency needed to read road signs, respond to official requests, and complete reports
