CDL-A Delivery Driver — $30.45/hr

Mondelez International (makers of Oreo, Ritz, Triscuit, Sour Patch Kids and more) needs a CDL-A driver based out of Elk Grove, CA to deliver products to stores and warehouses across California and Nevada. This is a union-represented role with a set hourly rate.

Pay

• $30.45 per hour

• Healthcare, retirement benefits and paid time off per the Collective Bargaining Agreement (some have eligibility requirements)

Schedule

• Either Monday through Friday (5 days) or Wednesday through Saturday (4 days), depending on customer demand

• Route start times range from 12am to 4am; shuttle runs can start between 9am and 2:30pm

• 40 hours per week with overtime available

• Schedules and routes may change

What you'll haul

• Interstate deliveries to stores and warehouses throughout California and Nevada

• Based out of 10175 Iron Rock Way, Elk Grove, CA 95624

• One stop services a military base, so a REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID is required for site access

What you'll do

• Check your tractor, trailer, pallet jack and other equipment regularly to keep everything running safely

• Handle daily paperwork such as receipts, logs and maintenance records

• Follow the routes and schedule set by your Route Manager or Dispatch

• Log hours and deliveries using a smartphone, ELD and scanner

Requirements

• CDL-A license

• At least 1 year of safe driving experience, with no serious violations in the past 10 years (DOT standard)

• Valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID

• Must pass a drug test, MVR check and background check

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse

• Direct store delivery (DSD) experience preferred

• Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT rules, plus basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transport

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and adjusting to route or schedule changes
