CDL-A Delivery Driver — $27–$38/hr, Guaranteed 40-Hour Week

Y. Hata, a locally owned Hawaiʻi foodservice distributor, is looking for CDL-A route drivers to join its transportation team on Oʻahu. You'll drive a refrigerated tractor-trailer on set routes, delivering grocery products and acting as the face of the company with each customer stop.

Pay

• $27 to $38 per hour, with incentive pay opportunities on top of base wage

• Guaranteed 40-hour workweek for predictable earnings

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 5:30am to 2pm

• Wednesday: 5am to 1:30pm

• Rotating Saturday shifts required to cover delivery needs

What you'll haul

• Food, beverages, paper goods and cleaning supplies delivered to business customers along assigned routes

• You'll unload using a pallet jack, cart or hand truck, stock shelves or racks, and handle care to avoid product damage

• Duties also include collecting payments and logging transactions, picking up empty containers, pallets and returns, and reporting any order discrepancies or damage

• You'll check your truck daily, keep it fueled and clean, and follow all federal and state driving rules

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

• Two years of route delivery experience preferred, including knowledge of local roads and towns on the route, plus one year in distribution or warehouse work (food service experience a plus)

• Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs

• If offered the role, you'll need to provide a Driver History Record dated within the last 30 days

• Must live on Oʻahu to meet the demands of this position
