About this job
A packaging solutions company in Apopka, FL is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver to handle local deliveries to commercial customers. You'll run a Monday to Friday schedule, first shift, starting at 6:00am.
Pay
- $26.00 per hour
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, first shift, start time 6:00am
What you'll haul
- Packaging materials delivered to local commercial customer sites
- Unloading may be done mechanically or by hand depending on the stop
What you'll do
- Drive a Class A truck to deliver packaging materials on local routes
- Load, unload and secure freight as needed
- Fill out delivery paperwork and keep accurate records
- Treat customers professionally and courteously
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle
- Follow DOT rules and the company's safety procedures
Requirements
- CDL-A with at least 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission
- Knowledge of local roads and routes in the area
- Able to run equipment like forklifts or loaders
- No violations on record in the federal clearinghouse
- Clean MVR for the past 3 years
- Able to repeatedly bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs
- Delivery driving experience preferred (3 years)
