CDL-A Delivery Driver — $25–$29.19/hr

Our company in Santa Fe Springs, CA is looking for a full-time CDL-A driver to handle statewide deliveries of wine and related goods to wineries, bars, restaurants, hotels and chain stores. You'll report to the Terminal Supervisor and work one shift per day as a non-exempt employee.

Pay

• $25/hr to $29.19/hr

What you'll haul

• Deliveries to wineries, bars, restaurants, hotels, chain stores and other customers across the state

• Depending on the assignment, you may drive a tanker, dry van or drayage unit

What you'll do

• Drive safely and defensively, reading maps, directions and road signs in English

• Keep accurate trip sheets, customer paperwork, maintenance logs, fuel receipts and incident or accident reports

• Clean, inspect and handle basic upkeep on your assigned vehicle

• Load and unload freight, using equipment like hand carts, pallet jacks, or tanker hoses and hatches as needed

• Turn in all required paperwork to your lead at the end of each shift

Requirements

• Valid California driver's license matching your assigned vehicle type: Class A with Tank Endorsement for tanker work, Class A for dry van, or Class A with a TWIC Card for drayage

• Clean driving record

• Solid route-planning and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with DOT, California Vehicle Code and company safety rules

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally

• Comfortable climbing in and out of cabs, cargo areas and tanker ladders, plus extended sitting, standing and driving to unfamiliar locations

• Must wear required safety gear (safety glasses, hearing/head protection, high-visibility vest, proper footwear) when in the production facility
