CDL-A Dedicated Driver — $1,505–$1,635+/WK, Home Every Other Week

Run dedicated, no-touch dry van freight out of Tacoma on a set regional lane, with time at home every other week. This is a live-load position, not a touch-freight job.

Pay

• Earn $0.63 to $0.71 per mile

• Typical weekly pay runs $1,505 to $1,635 or more

• Pick up an extra $20 per stop, with drivers averaging around 18 stops a week

What you'll haul

• Dedicated dry van freight, no touch, live load only

• Routes cover Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming

Requirements

• Class A CDL issued in your current state of residency

• At least 21 years old

• A minimum of 3 full months of verifiable Class A driving experience, not counting time with a trainer or in driving school

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, and no more than one serious violation (15+ over the limit, reckless driving, handheld device use) in the past 12 months

• Up to 2 DOT-recordable accidents allowed in the past 3 years, but none involving a major violation or a major accident such as a rear-end collision, rollover or jackknife

• No more than 3 jobs in the past year or 6 in the past 3 years, and no termination from your last job for any reason, based on what the carrier reports

• You'll need home parking arranged before you start
