CDL-A Car Hauler — IL⇄FL Route, 30% of Gross

SDR Group Inc. runs a dedicated Illinois to Florida car-hauling lane and needs an experienced Class A CDL driver comfortable handling a 7–9 car trailer. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with steady, repeat round trips.

Pay

• You keep 30% of gross revenue, which has recently worked out to $4,500–$4,800 per round trip

• Bonuses and tips may also be available

Home time

• Weekly reset schedule, which suits drivers who live in Illinois, Florida or Wisconsin

• Days off can be arranged around your needs

What you'll haul

• Vehicles loaded on a Volvo tractor paired with a Sun Valley 8-car trailer

• Round-trip lane between Illinois and Florida, coordinating as many as 8 pickups and 8 drop-offs each trip

Requirements

• At least 2 years driving with a Class A CDL

• Direct experience operating 7–9 car hauler trailers (not tow trucks), with references

• A clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years

• Able to stay composed under pressure and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

Responsibilities

• Load, secure and unload vehicles carefully

• Keep dispatch and customers updated throughout the trip

• Manage your own schedule and time professionally

• Flag any mechanical or maintenance concerns right away
