CDL-A Bulk Cryo Tanker Driver — Hazmat Endorsement Required

Our company is looking for a Bulk Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA to haul and off-load bulk cryogenic and other industrial gases using a tractor-trailer tanker rig. You'll run routes to customer and storage sites, handling hazmat materials with care and keeping deliveries on schedule.

What you'll haul

• Compressed and liquefied industrial gases, including cryogenic products, delivered to customers or storage locations

• Tractor-trailer tanker combination, often over long distances

What you'll do

• Drive safely and attentively given the bulk and hazmat cargo

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and flag any needed maintenance

• Use onboard safety equipment such as remote control devices, onboard computers and recording devices correctly

• Fill out DOT paperwork and company reports, and get delivery tickets signed by customers

• Follow our company safety procedures, attend required safety training and monthly meetings, and immediately report accidents, injuries, safety concerns or citations to your supervisor

• Represent the company professionally, including wearing a uniform and interacting courteously with customers

• Expect moderate overnight travel, including occasional layovers

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• HS diploma or GED preferred

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements for your state of residence

• At least 3 years of experience driving tractor-trailer vehicles

• Hazmat or tanker experience of 3 years preferred

• Familiarity with cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases is a plus

• Must pass DOT written and road tests, plus a DOT physical and drug screen

• Reliable transportation to get to work and travel sites

• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds, climb into a truck cab, and handle frequent walking, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling in varied indoor/outdoor conditions
