About this job
MidAmerica Transport, a new venture from our company (PI Holdings), is hiring CDL Class A drivers to haul mostly frac sand in belly dump trailers, plus some flatbed work. You'll be home every day and paid weekly.
Pay
- Day shift: 30% of gross load pay
- Night shift and weekends: 40% of gross load pay
- Typical weekly pay starts around $1,500
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- Additional safety, referral, and retention bonuses available
Home time
Home daily.
What you'll haul
Primarily frac sand using belly dump trailers, with some flatbed loads as well. Slip-seat pairing available if you have a CDL Class A driving partner.
What you'll do
- Operate tractor-trailers, including belly dumps and flatbeds, following DOT/FMCSA rules
- Load and unload freight and secure cargo properly
- Use a GEOTAB electronic logging device and stay compliant with Hours of Service
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with Driver Managers and clients about delivery status
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Clean criminal background for the past 7 years
- Current DOT medical certification
- Authorized to work in the US
- Experience with ELD/GPS systems, GEOTAB and Netradyne preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred
