CDL-A/B Local Delivery Driver — $32.46/$31.20/Hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local delivery driver in San Diego, CA to haul compressed gas cylinders to business customers using a company-provided straight or box truck. You'll be home every day and work a Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay

• CDL A license holders earn $32.46/Hr

• CDL B license holders earn $31.20/Hr

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, home daily

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders delivered to and picked up from customer sites and our company locations

• You'll load, unload and track cylinders on a manifest, get customer signatures, and bring back empty, rejected or unsold cylinders for refilling

• You may also help out in the warehouse or on the dock when needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and airbrake endorsements (HAZMAT is mandatory; applicants without it won't be considered)

• Current driver's license, DOT medical card and required endorsements kept up to date

• No more than two traffic violations or two at-fault accidents in the past 3 years (or one of each combined)

• No DUI or controlled substance violations in the past 7 years

• Able to work in a drug-free workplace

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and move loads over 125 lbs with equipment assistance

• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years, or a completion certificate from a trucking school within the last 12 months

• Forklift experience is a plus
