CDL-A/B Local Delivery Driver — $32.15–$33.26/hr + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

DHX in Kailua-Kona is hiring a local pickup-and-delivery driver to run an established route, loading and unloading freight much like a dock worker would. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Pay

• $32.15 to $33.26 per hour, full-time

• Discretionary annual bonus and a milestone service bonus

• Annual merit reviews

What you'll do

• Follow a routing manifest to drop off goods using a truck, forklift, pallet jack or hand truck

• Log shipment info on the manifest, delivery order or proof-of-delivery paperwork

• Collect payments from customers and enter the transactions into the company system

• Keep route records current and follow check-in steps

• Help customers as needed during drops, and pass along any complaints to the warehouse or sales team

• Get a signature confirming pickup or delivery

• Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and file the required reports

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• One year of delivery experience preferred; those with less may still qualify for training

• Class-B CDL required; a hazmat endorsement is a plus

• Solid, steady work history

• Clean driving record, checked through your MVR and past employers

• Able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and meet DOT medical standards
