CDL-A/B Delivery Truck Driver (Union) — $27.53–$33.69/hr

Our company is hiring a full-time union delivery driver in Commerce, CA to run assigned routes and handle product delivery, unloading and customer service along the way.

Pay

• $27.53 to $33.69 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive assigned routes and deliver within set time windows

• Unload freight by hand, hand cart or pallet jack, including down ramps, stairs or docks in any weather

• Move goods between storage areas, loading docks and the truck

• Get delivery signatures from customers and sort product before loading and unloading

• Collect cash or checks when needed and turn in all funds the same day

• Pick up damaged goods and customer returns, with paperwork

• Handle drums and boxes up to 170 lbs with a hand truck, including on ramps or stairs

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks, DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports per DOT rules and company procedures

• Keep hand carts, pallet jacks and other assigned equipment and PPE in safe working order

Requirements

• Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record

• English language skills for speaking, reading and writing

• 1-2 years of driving experience preferred

• Able to lift/carry about 50 lbs (such as sacks of rice) and push/pull 80-100 lbs

• Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus

• Familiarity with DOT and CDL rules

• Basic math skills

• Detail-oriented, dependable and customer-service minded, with good communication and teamwork skills

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
