CDL-A/B Coach Driver — From $37.20/hr

WeDriveU runs shuttle and transit services that move employees between stops for corporate clients. As a Coach Operator in Stockton, CA, you'll follow set routes and schedules while keeping passengers safe and informed.

Pay

• Starts from $37.20 per hour

What you'll do

• Run pre-planned routes on schedule, transporting corporate employees between stops

• Check your vehicle before driving and flag any issues right away

• Follow all traffic laws and transit rules, state and federal

• Keep in touch with dispatch and management, and treat riders professionally

• Help passengers with route info, schedules, transfers and delays

• Call in maintenance problems, road issues, accidents or other disruptions over radio or a hands-free device

• Use navigation apps and know the area well enough to find pickup and drop-off points

• Keep electronic logs of your routes and any incidents

Schedule and physical demands

• Be able to drive continuously for at least one hour and forty-five minutes without a break

• Comfortable driving through changing weather and road conditions

• Open to working outside your normal days or shift, including split shifts

• Able to lift 45 pounds or more when helping ADA riders load and unload

• Reliable attendance and on-time arrival are expected

Requirements

• Clean driving record

• Valid CDL, Class A or B

• Airbrake endorsement

• Passenger endorsement

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen and background check

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• At least 1 year of driving experience preferred
