CDL-A Auto Transport Driver — $300–$350/Day

Our company, a small auto transport company in Nampa, ID that's been running for 10 years, needs a CDL-A driver to haul vehicles across Idaho, Utah, and Montana. You'll drive tractor-trailers and flatbeds, loading and unloading vehicles and securing them for transport, including some inoperable units.

Pay

• $300.00 - $350.00 per day

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday

• Routes take you out of town overnight since the job covers neighboring states, so you need to be able to handle nights away from home

What you'll haul

• Cars and other vehicles, loaded and strapped onto trailers

• Some loads involve inoperable vehicles that need tow truck help or other equipment to load

• Driving through snowy conditions is part of the job, since all three routes see snowfall

Requirements

• Valid CDL A, preferred

• At least 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience, preferred

• Clean driving record

• Comfortable operating manual transmission tractor-trailers and flatbeds

• Able to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep DOT-compliant logs of hours, deliveries, and maintenance

• Current medical card

• Must pass a drug test

• Good communication with dispatch and customers to keep deliveries on track
