CDL-A Airport Driver — Hazmat Endorsement

Our company in Orlando, FL needs a CDL-A driver to move cargo between aircraft and the warehouse on airport grounds. You'll run a tractor trailer in a fast-paced ramp environment and work closely with airline staff.

What you'll haul

• Cargo loaded in a 53' trailer, moving between various aircraft and the warehouse (and back)

• Work performed under strict safety rules in an active airport ramp area

Schedule

• AGI runs operations around the clock, every day, across three shifts

• You need an open schedule to cover flight delays, cancellations and other last-minute changes

• Weekend work (Friday through Sunday) and holidays are required

• Good attendance is expected and enforced

Requirements

• Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement

• At least 18 years old

• 1-2 years of trucking experience with manual transmission

• Solid understanding of ramp operations

• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking abilities

• Comfortable handling customer interactions and resolving conflicts

• Must pass a drug screen and background check, and qualify for airport security clearance

• Able to lift as much as 70 pounds in tight spaces, and stand, bend, push and pull for long stretches

• Willing to work outdoors in any weather and tolerate high noise levels on the ramp
