Box Truck Driver — $200.00 per Day

Our company in West Columbia, SC is looking for a Box Truck Driver to move freight on local and over-the-road routes. You'll handle loading, unloading, and timely deliveries while keeping accurate records and following safety rules.

Pay

• $200.00 per day

What you'll haul

• Freight moved by box truck and tractor-trailer, including refrigerated trailers

• Some routes may involve flatbed or tanker equipment

• Possible transport of hazardous materials, following all required safety rules

Duties

• Drive assigned routes safely, using GPS to plan and follow efficient paths

• Load and unload cargo by hand, securing it properly for transport

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking equipment for compliance

• Keep accurate delivery logs, manifests, and required paperwork

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any issues that come up

• Follow FMCSA and DOT rules at all times, including those covering hazardous materials

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements for tractor-trailer operation

• Manual transmission experience preferred

• Background in delivery driving, freight handling, and loading/unloading

• Comfortable using GPS and planning routes to different locations

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat regulations

• Able to safely lift and handle freight by hand

• Experience with refrigerated, flatbed, or tanker equipment is a plus
