Box Truck Driver — $2,100–$2,600/Week

Our company in Florida is looking for a Box Truck Driver to handle over-the-road freight deliveries. You'll be responsible for getting loads to their destinations safely and on time while following all DOT and FMCSA rules.

What you'll do

• Drive box trucks (and tractor-trailers as needed) on OTR routes, staying compliant with DOT and FMCSA standards

• Load, secure, unload and check freight, including hazardous materials, using safe handling methods

• Plan and follow routes with GPS to hit delivery windows and keep fuel use efficient

• Haul refrigerated trailers when assigned, keeping temperatures correct for perishable loads

• Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, looking at tires, mechanical condition and load security

• Keep accurate paperwork for pickups, deliveries and cargo manifests, including hazmat documentation

• Stay in touch with dispatch, customers and teammates to keep deliveries on track and sort out problems quickly

Requirements

• CDL not required, but a clean driving record is a must; manual transmission experience preferred

• Solid delivery driving background, comfortable with loading, unloading and efficient routing

• Familiar with FMCSA, DOT and hazmat regulations and general trucking safety rules

• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus

• Able to safely manage hands-on freight tasks, including using equipment like forklifts when needed

• Strong grasp of cargo handling for general and hazardous freight

• Safe, punctual driving with strong customer service
