Box Truck Delivery Driver — $700–$2,000/Week

Major Issue Transports LLC needs reliable box truck drivers for local and regional freight runs out of the Baton Rouge, LA area, including Amazon Relay loads. This can be full-time, part-time, or contract work.

Pay

• You're paid 30% of the revenue from your assigned loads and routes, so earnings depend on how many routes you complete

• There may be chances to pick up extra work and boost your earnings

• Weekly pay typically runs $700.00 - $2,000.00

What you'll haul

• You'll run a company box truck on local and regional routes (no OTR positions right now)

• Freight includes Amazon Relay loads along with other contracted freight

• Expect palletized freight that you'll load, unload, and move with a pallet jack

What the job involves

• Running your routes safely and getting deliveries done on time

• Managing loads through the Amazon Relay app, checking in and out, following route directions, and sending updates as required

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keeping your truck clean and organized

• Staying in touch with dispatch about load status, delays, and progress

• Working a schedule that may include holidays, weekdays, and weekends as needed

Requirements

• A Louisiana Class D Chauffeur's License is required

• You must be comfortable and experienced using a pallet jack to load, unload, and move freight

• You need to be able to use a smartphone, GPS, and the Amazon Relay app

• Amazon Relay experience is a plus, and the company will train you on its own procedures

• A CDL is a plus but not required

• Prior box truck or delivery driving experience is a plus

• You should have a solid safe-driving track record and be someone who shows up on time for scheduled routes
