Box Truck Delivery Driver — $27.00/hr

Our company is looking for a Box Truck Driver in Greer, SC to handle local and regional delivery routes. You'll move goods to homes and businesses, with service ranging from simple drop-offs to white glove delivery that includes room placement and assembly. This role involves hands-on customer interaction and careful cargo handling.

Pay

• $27.00 per hour (anticipated starting rate; may be adjusted based on market conditions and location)

Schedule

• 7-day operation, 5 days a week, on a rotating schedule

• Overtime and flexible hours may be required

What you'll do

• Drive a box truck safely on assigned local and regional routes

• Load, unload and secure cargo so it doesn't shift or get damaged in transit

• Handle deliveries ranging from front-door drop-offs to full white glove service, including basic assembly with hand tools

• Check orders, freight condition and quantities before finishing each delivery

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns right away

• Keep accurate paperwork: delivery records, receipts and inspection forms

• Stay in contact with customers, dispatch, warehouse staff and management about delays, route changes or vehicle problems

• Keep your truck and work area clean and organized

• Pitch in with warehouse or material-handling tasks as needed

• Follow traffic laws, DOT rules, company policy and site-specific requirements at customer locations

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (REAL ID) with a clean driving record

• Box truck, delivery or other commercial driving experience preferred

• Comfortable reading maps and using navigation tools

• Solid documentation, communication and customer service skills

• Able to work independently with minimal oversight

• Must speak, read and write English

• Must be able to clear a federal background check for access to military and government facilities

• Able to lift and move items up to 75 lbs without help, plus frequent bending, climbing, reaching and similar physical movement throughout the shift

Safety

You'll need to follow all company safety rules along with DOT, OSHA and, where relevant, TSA requirements, as well as safety rules at customer sites. Any accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions or damage must be reported immediately.
