Box Truck Delivery Driver — $150 Per Day

Our company, a FedEx Ground contractor, is hiring full-time delivery drivers to join their team in Alexandria, LA. You'll drive a box truck to deliver packages locally, working six days a week on a daytime schedule.

Pay

• $150 per day, paid weekly

• Paid training period of about 1-2 weeks at roughly $100 per day

Schedule

• Typical hours run from 8:00am to 5:00pm

• Six-day work week

• Report to the terminal at 530 Vandenburg Dr, Alexandria, LA 71303 to pick up your vehicle

What you'll haul

• FedEx Ground packages delivered by box truck on local routes

Requirements

• Chauffeur's license needed (or willingness to obtain one)

• About a year of box truck driving experience is preferred

• Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screening

• Background check and clean driving record required

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Able to physically get in and out of the truck throughout the day

• Bilingual, military and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply

What you'll do

• Pick up your vehicle at the FedEx terminal each day

• Load and unload packages

• Deliver using GPS navigation, scanning and logging each stop
