Our company in Duncan, SC needs delivery drivers for dedicated local overnight routes, running a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. This is 1099 independent contractor work, no CDL required.
Schedule
- Third shift, dedicated routes starting Monday night and finishing Saturday morning once the route is done.
- You're off on weekends, but if line hauls run late you still have to complete the route, so finish times aren't guaranteed.
- This should be your primary job, not a side gig.
Pay
- $150 to $230 per day, paid weekly by direct deposit.
- As a 1099 contractor you get tax write-off advantages, with no taxes typically owed.
What you'll haul
- Local, dedicated courier routes using a 26' box truck equipped with a lift gate.
Requirements
- No CDL needed; driving experience helps but isn't required.
- Must pass a background check and a drug screening (pre-hire, random during employment, and after any accident).
- Clean driving record and legal driving age.
- Must pass a physical exam for a DOT card (cost is on you).
- Reliable transportation to get to work each day and a working smartphone.
- Punctuality is critical since these routes run on a tight schedule.
- A solid work history with good references from past employers.
